Ribble Valley Sessions - Irish Traditional Music Sessions
The back room of the New Inn is the usual venue for a gig but equally a session or song can spring up anywhere in the pub and the current Licensee and his staff are appreciated for continuing to back this tradition 100%.
Performances and events change regularly.
Currently there is an open acoustic set every Friday Night with a contemporary folk, blues and jazz basis. Alternative Saturday nights and alternate Sunday afternoons have Traditional Irish music sessions.
These have now become established as some of the finest sessions of the genre in the region with players and fans traveling from all over the North to attend. Players, singers and especially listeners are all welcomed to these open sessions - a continuing feature of the New Inn for many years now.
